Overview
Edmonds has a wide variety of parks. I’m sure you will find a park to fit your personality somewhere in the many Edmonds Parks. From an underwater park to large undeveloped areas with trails, to dog parks, to parks with play equipment for young children, there’s something here for everyone. The parks are listed below in alphabetical order, with a short summary of each park, including a link to a more complete description. Most are located in Edmonds, although a few are located near-by, but outside the City of Edmonds.Dog Leash Rules
Edmonds ordinance does not allow dogs in many of the city parks. However, eight City of Edmonds parks are open to dogs and their handlers on the designated trails only. Both leash and scoop laws are strictly enforced and must be observed when using these Parks: Yost Park, Maplewood Park, Pine Ridge Park, Sierra Park, City Park (southeast wooded area only), Mathay-Ballinger Park, Seaview Park, Haines Wharf Park, and South Marina Beach Park where dogs are allowed off leash in the Off-Leash Area.7th & Elm Park
Edmonds’ 7th & Elm Park is a small neighborhood park with grass and trees. Dogs are allowed at this park. (Between 7th and 8th Avenues on Elm Street)Anderson Center Field

Brackett’s Landing North, including the Edmonds Underwater Park, is located north of the Edmonds Ferry landing on the waterfront at Main Street and Railroad Avenue, this park has a great underwater area. Kids will enjoy the sandy beach. (Main Street & Railroad Avenue)
Brackett’s Landing South
Enjoy the Brackett’s Landing South Park walkway down the waterfront south from the Edmonds Ferry Terminal to the Edmonds Marina. (100 Railroad Avenue South)Centennial Plaza
(5th Ave N & Bell St)Civic Center Playfield
The Civic Center Playfield at 6th Avenue North & Bell Street has a baseball diamond, a track, soccer fields, tennis courts, and a grandstrand. Also check out the skateboard area! (200 2nd Avenue South)Edmonds City Park
Edmonds City Park is located just south of Downtown Edmonds at 3rd Avenue South & Howell Way. There you’ll find a play area for the kids, a wading pool, picnic tables, a ball field, and more. In the summer, listen to the Sunday summer concerts. Dogs are allowed in the wooded area of City Park. (3rd Ave South & Howell Way)Edmonds Public Fishing Pier
The Public Fishing Pier is located on the waterfront (where else?) at the end of Dayton Street where it crosses Admiral Way. A good place to fish and a great place to walkEdmonds Marsh

Haines Wharf Park is in Northern Edmonds, not far from Meadowdale Playfields at 16121 75th Place West. Dogs are allowed in Haines Wharf Park.Hazel Miller Plaza
Concerts are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout July and August at the Hazel Miller Plaza located at 5th Avenue South and Maple Street.
Hickman Park
The newest park in Edmonds, Hickman Park, is in southwest Edmonds at the site of the old Woodway Elementary School – 23700 104th Avenue West. Dogs are allowed in Hickman Park.
Hummingbird Hill Park
Hummingbird Hill Park is a nice, small, park tucked away in a residential neighborhood. (10th Avenue North & Edmonds Street)
Hutt Park
Hutt Park, at 92nd Avenue and 187th Street SW, has trails where you can watch the wildlife.
Lynndale Skate Park

Maplewood Park has a number of private picnic tables with adjacent parking. It also has a small play area for kids. Maplewood Park is less than two miles northeast of downtown Edmonds at 19800 89th Place West. Dogs are allowed in Maplewood Park.Marina Beach
Marina Beach is located on Admiral Way South, just south of the Edmonds Marina. You will find here grass, picnic tables, and (of course) a beach! (470 Admiral Way)Mathay Ballinger Park
Mathay Ballinger Park is a (relatively) small park, located near Lake Ballinger at 24100 78th Place West. It has a children’s play area, a few picnic tables, and a large grassy area. Dogs are allowed in Mathay Ballinger Park.Meadowdale Playfields
Meadowdale Playfields is a joint effort of Edmonds, Lynnwood, Snohomish County, and the Edmonds School district. It has two large football/soccer fields, three baseball fields, a small basketball court, picnic areas, and paths. It is located at 66th Avenue West & 167th Street Southwest.O.L.A.E. – Off-Leash Area – Edmonds
O.L.A.E. is actually a part of Marina Beach, but is a fenced in area with sand for the dogs to run in and beach access for those that like to swim. Find O.L.A.E. at the south end of Admiral Way South.Olympic Beach Park

Yost Park & Pool, at 9535 Bowdoin Way, is the only park in Edmonds with a pool. It also has tennis courts, hiking trails and a small play area. Dogs are allowed in Yost Park.
