Hickman Park

Hickman Park

Hickman Park, the newest park in Edmonds, is in Southwest Edmonds near Edmonds Way at 23700 104th Ave W. (GPS: 47°47.063′ N 122°22.379′ W)

This 5.5 acre park, on the site of the old Woodway Elementary School, opened in August of 2009. It is the first new park in Edmonds since 1973. It has a children’s play area, a picnic shelter and a large grass area with a few picnic tables. There is a wheel-chair accessible trail around the park and a short trail through the woods with exercise stations.

This is one of Edmonds’ dog-friendly parks. Dogs are allowed in this park on the pathways and trails as long as you obey the leash and scoop laws of Edmonds.

The grass area has a softball backstop, and can be used for soccer. Bring your own net and play volleyball or badminton. There are two basketball hoops on a small concrete sports court, and several benches around the park.
