Olympic Beach is right beside the Edmonds Fishing Pier and just north of the Edmonds Marina, at Dayton Street and Admiral Way. (GPS: 47.8103° N 122.3871° W)
Olympic Beach is a water-front walkway. Along the walkway you will find many interesting sculptures, small and large. Look closely and see what you can find. Enjoy the view across the water to the Olympics, or sit on a bench and watch the Ferry coming and going. From here you can easily walk north along the waterfront to Brackett’s Landing or south to the Edmonds Marina.
The seals love to watch the comings and goings. And these seals are great for kids to pet. They won’t get away!
This little guy wants to join the others.
The “Seeing Whales” cast aluminum sculpture is at the south end of Olympic Beach park. For a 3D view of this sculpture, see this blog post.
Look carefully as you walk here. Look at the concrete walkway and edge, and don’t forget to check out the water side of the walkway. What can you find? Maybe an octopus, or a sand dollar, or some barnacles.
